HTC CEO Peter Chao announced in recent days on the company's Facebook:
"There has been overwhelmingly customer feedback that people want access to open bootloaders on HTC phones. I want you to know that we ' ve listened. Today, I'm confirming we will no longer be locking the bootloaders on our devices. Thanks for your passion, support and patience, "Peter Chou, CEO of HTC.To make the story short: the android community has adopted warmly the HTC devices due to the ease with which these devices create new versions of the ROM that enhance functionality as battery power and others. At the beginning of the year started out with HTC devices that allowed a locked BOOTLOADER process of ROOTING or replacing the ROM to ROM unofficial. The reaction of users was angry and noisy, and heard voices that HTC have come from and decided to return to that episode. So she joins to Sony Ericsson ensure that all its devices have a BOOTLOADER.
